CAS Alumni Panel!
On October 24, the Alumni Relations Committee held their first event of the year; a panel where the panelists were CAS alumni working in fields non-traditional for their major. They shared their stories about success, challenges and resilience, and their educational and professional journey.
On November 28, the Alumni Relations Committee in conjunction with the College Alumni Association hosted their annual Student-Alumni Debate, with one student and one alumni on each side of the motion. The debate topics revolve around pertinent and vital issues that affect NYU and society at large. This year’s motion was “Private non-profit universities should on average reduce tuition and fees to the levels of public universities here in the United States.”
On April 1, the Alumni Relations Committee, working with the College Alumni Association, hosted their annual Student-Alumni Banquet! Students and alumni were able to connect over a three-course meal following a keynote speech by Hewett Chiu (CAS ‘14).
