Student Faculty Banquet 2023
Student-Faculty Banquet
On November 12, the Curriculum Committee held their 15th-Annual Student-Faculty Banquet. This event, a formal three-course dinner and banquet, is held to provide an opportunity outside of the classroom for students and professors to interact, converse, and build lasting relationships. Students learn more about why and how professors entered their fields, how they achieved great success, and receive advice for navigating college and beyond as budding professionals. The event recognizes professors from the various departments of CAS for their hard-work throughout the year and the impact they have made on campus.
Faculty “Ask Me Anything” Panel
On March 4, the Curriculum Committee held the first panel of their Faculty “Ask Me Anything” series. The "Faculty Ask-Me-Anything Panel" series was a brand-new initiative this semester to better bridge the connection between students and professors. They have invited professors from different departments to answer any and all questions students may have, from more career-centric or academic inquiries, or more about personal interests or a work-life balance. The kickoff panel focused on Computer Science!
