The College Alumni Association is excited to present the fourth annual Oxford-Style CAS Alumni Student Debate.
The purpose of the debate is to invite current students and alumni to debate in-depth about pertinent and vital issues that affect NYU and society at large. The debate involves a current student and alumni on each side of the motion to provide diverse and substantive views to the discussion. After the debate, the audience will vote to determine the winner.
There will be an open question period in which audience members may ask questions to either or both sides on their positions and to challenge each side's arguments.
The motion for this debate will be: The United States Should Introduce a Universal Basic Income.
Learn and enjoy a lively debate!
