The International Relations (IR) Society at NYU seeks to bring together International Relations, Politics, Economics, and Area Studies majors/minors as well as anyone else interested in international affairs. We aim to further students' academic and career development, facilitate networking and friendships, and provide an open forum for discussion. An important organ of the IR Society is our 24x7 student-run publication the IR Insider. With nine categories by geographic regions, four by ideas, and three by media monitoring and event reporting, the IR Insider covers extensively covers world news cycles. The publication recruits writers each semester.
