 Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is the CAS Baccalaureate canceled?

A: No! In order to keep the greater community safe and to assure that all students have the chance to participate in the Baccalaureate ceremony, the administration has postponed. However, they are determined to hold the ceremony when it is safe to do so.

Q: What is the virtual tribute?

A: We still want to hold a celebration in honor of the Class of 2021 during the time traditional ceremonies would take place. Therefore, on the day that Baccalaureate was originally scheduled, we will be releasing a Virtual Tribute to the class of 2021 (kinda like a Holiday Special) including photos/videos submitted by YOU, speakers to honor your experience, and more! Use the link below to submit content from your time at CAS!

Q: There are so many different ceremonies! How do I know which ones I can attend/participate in?

A: The university holds All-University Commencement to honor all students graduating from all schools in 2021. Then, each individual college holds its own ceremonies to honor their graduates. If you are in a dual-degree program or a double major, this means you might participate in graduations from multiple schools. In addition, different organizations on campus hold additional ceremonies to honors graduates from specific demographics/backgrounds. You can check out a list of all these ceremonies and who to contact if you want to participate below.
